Hello DSG Team Families,

Season is about halfway through, and I wanted to send a few reminders out as State and Regionals approach:

• Please remember to save and regularly check the team site: Team Site The calendar there is updated regularly and includes meet times, open gyms, and the private lesson sign up link. If your child has their own phone, they should save the site also.

• State Meets: Your gymnast will be automatically enrolled in the State meet upon qualification. This  fee is billed out two weeks before the meet.  We will not get an exact schedule until about 1.5 weeks out as they have to wait until all athletes have passed the deadline to qualify. The weekends and locations are as follows:

• Gold April 4-6 @ Peak in Highlands Ranch

• Platinum, Diamond, and Sapphire  April 11-13 @ Arapahoe County Fairgrounds

• Regional Meets: This year both regional meets are out of state. That means that similar to a regular travel meet, there will be a travel fee in addition to the entry fee. The travel fee is calculated by the number of athletes who participate and this fee is billed out 1.5 weeks before the meet.  We will not get an exact schedule until about 1.5 weeks out as they have to wait until all state have registered their athletes. The weekends and locations are as follows:

  • May 2-4 Gold Regionals Hot Springs, Arkansas

  • May 9-11 Platinum, Diamond, and Sapphire Regionals in Universal City, TX

• Summer practice Schedule will be as follows. Most athletes will stay in the same practice group they are currently in. We will contact you during the month of March if your athlete will be changing practices. There will be a tuition adjustment for the summer schedule/hours. I will get that out to everyone in March.

  Gold (currently in T/TH practice): Th/Th 6-8:30 Sat Optional 11:30-1

  Platinum (and Golds currently in Mon/Wed practice): Mon 6pm, (Optional 4th day) Tues 1-4, Wed 6:30, Thurs 1-4

  Diamonds/Sapphire: Mon 6pm, Tues 1-4 Wed 6:30, Thurs 1-4

  
  

• Summer Programs: We will be holding some intensives and clinics this summer to get the teams in to focus on one event at a time, it will be a great time to work skill specific drills and lots repetitions. We will also be utilizing this time to train staff and we are working on bringing in guest coaches as well. The sign up forms are below:

• Bronze, Silver, and Golds currently in Tues/Thurs practice: Silver through Gold Clinics

• Platinum (And Mon/Wed Golds), Diamonds, and Sapphires: Platinum, Diamond and Sapphire Intensives
